Living on the open prairie of Wyoming in a 5th wheel has its own challenges. High winds being one of the biggest. Yesterday and today was no exception. We had wind gusts here yesterday of 43 mph with snow. I doubled the number of PVC pipe clamps this fall so they can be placed every 8-10" along the bottom of the skirt. That helps quite a bit by preventing the skirt from getting loose at the bottom and flapping.

We have winds up close to 100 mph at times during the year and the 3M adhesive snaps just could not hold up to that strain. I was chicken to put in the self tapping screw snaps when I first put on the EZ Snap skirt but needn't have been. I decided this fall to upgrade the 3M adhesive snaps to the self tapping screw in snaps whenever the 3M snaps peeled off. so have been gradually changing over to the screw in snaps as the old adhesive snaps come off. Wow! even I can do it. The screw in snaps are not hard to put in. Takes a little elbow grease for a fat old lady but not bad at all. If I can do it anyone can. They no longer sell the adhesive snaps for the RV skirting kits which is good. The screw in studs are definitely superior for the RV Skirt and they're not that hard to put in.
